Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Taskete (“the Service”) at taskete.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including those on free plans and any future paid plans.

Taskete is an AI-assisted task management application. It allows you to create, organise, and track tasks; connect external calendar services; collaborate in team workspaces; and use AI features powered by Google Gemini.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Taskete.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@taskete.co if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You agree not to use Taskete to:

• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

You retain ownership of all content you create in Taskete (tasks, notes, projects, and other data). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. We will not use your task content to train AI models.

Taskete includes AI-powered features (natural language task creation, smart suggestions, daily digest) that send limited task data to Google Gemini API on the server. By using these features, you acknowledge that this data processing occurs and accept Google’s API terms.

AI-generated suggestions are provided for convenience only. We make no guarantees about their accuracy or suitability. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on any AI output.

Taskete optionally integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. When you connect these services, you are subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

You may disconnect any third-party integration at any time in Settings.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taskete shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50 (whichever is greater).

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
